Oh, wanderlust
I’ve been working on the same thing for two weeks straight, and I think I need a break. :P
There weren’t any classes last Thursday (19th) so I went with a couple of friends to Tagaytay/Laguna for some chillin’ and working-away-from-home. Studying/working at the same space can be choking to one’s creative juices and I think most of us need something like this. A trip not really planned but you just ask friends and they’d just go “okay!” and whoever’s free shows up next morning, ready for the ride.
Honestly, right now I wish I were somewhere else working instead of here at home. I’m tired of SBC (yes! I am! It’s not conducive to work anymore. D’: That or maybe I’m just too exhausted already). Next week I need to look for somewhere else to spend hours working — plugs and internet being the minimum requirements).
Kitkat, Charlie’s beautiful and talented girlfriend, didn’t go because of thesis so I ended up being the only girl. Sometimes being guy enough to join an almost boy-bonding time can have its perks, but it also left me thinking twice about going. The last thing I wanted, really, was to keep them from having more fun because a “girl” is there. Not that it stopped them from doing anything crazy anyway, but you get what I mean.
Some photos taken last Thursday (I took some of them, others by Charlie):

Anton enjoying his authentic Mushroom Burger
We ate lunch at the “authentic” Tagaytay Mushroom Burger. Honestly, I don’t know the difference between the food their and the branch in Katipunan. After which we went to visit Jopy’s house. Though still under construction, everyone’s excited at the prospect of shooting there. >:D The windows were made for love.

Just before leaving Jopy's Tagaytay-House. Apparently, he and Charlie are neighbors!
Charlie drove for most of the trip. Although he thoroughly enjoyed it when Magno temporarily took over. >:D Jopy was the trip-DJ, with an awesome roadtrip playlist. On the trip back, Charlie pulled off an Awesome and took videos of us while singing as he was driving.

Charlie driving...I really like his wicked watch.
We ended up going to Laguna for work (it was an hour away from Tagaytay). And play.

Proof that yes, I WAS working!

Some bromance, of course. ;D

And more bromancing!

Finally, the obligatory group photo. :)
The funniest thing about that trip was seeing Batman in between a string of Colette’s hahaha. There was a Hulk to, but he was no where near Batman-priority. The general reaction was, “BATMAAAAAN!!!! STOP!!!!! Oh, there’s a Hulk too. Wait, get the camera for Batman!!!”

Everyone had to scream to make the car stop and take a picture of Batman.
I NEED more days like this.
